Quarter Year’s six rules for independent travel

I read somewhere that to travel well you need patience, tolerance, respect and a sense of humor. To that I’d add a Rolex and rock-hard abs, just in case. But I’ve been thinking about some actual travel advice we’ve developed for ourselves over the years. Here they are. Just below. Right… now. Below. Look down there now, the next few words don’t matter. Slicey trickster temple mat. See? They didn’t matter.

  1. Wow, excellent thoughts on travel. I’m getting better with the packing thing and absolutely agree about staying in one place and exploring from there.

  2. I agree too! Another good post on travel, you guys should write a book :). I wish our next trip to Europe was that simple… it will be hard to travel like a tourist! I don’t know what that’s going to be like!
